Breathe from the Heart

We usually consider our brain our go-to center for analyzing, processing and decision-making.  But our heart can also ‘think’.  Its just quieter and we are not as adept at hearing it.  Its one of our senses that we have not cultivated throughout our lives.  It looks at things from a very different perspective than our mind, one of light and love.

What if we start by simply bathing our mind in some of the love and light we house in our heart?  Try this breath exercise:

On your inhalations, breathe from your heart to eyebrow center.  Visualize bathing your mind in light and love.

On your exhalations, breathe out through your nostrils, letting go of murkiness, staleness and any errant thoughts passing through your mind.
